Marketing Assistant: part time or intern position.
Start date – ASAP
Pay: £9-11 an hour
Our Marketing Manager has been very successful over the last few years building a great brand in Osmii. The Marcomms side is up and running and we are now looking for two marketing sales support members to grow the team and build our efforts.
Our ideal candidate is someone who is plugged in with Technology, Google and Social Media. Are you always up-to-date about new technologies? Are you a creative? Are you passionate about Research, Content, Digital…?
Your main function will be supporting the sales staff in their daily tasks. You will also be working with the marketing manager to work on a broad range of marketing activities, including developing PR and media campaigns, working with B2B content aggregators, brand building, and content creation across an emerging technology landscape.
You will gain real world branding and marketing skills. And be exposed to real projects from day 1. You will also learn how to work in a professional environment and have ample opportunity to network with management and clients.
What we require:
You will need to be very good at marketing research, building target campaign lists and qualifying data.
Bright graduate or undergraduate studying Marketing, PR & Social Media, Communication & Advertising or Journalism
Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
Adobe skills a major advantage as you will be helping with company presentations, and online marketing material.
An understanding of Google ad-words and SEO (you will work with our partner to create and review campaigns).
Organised, with an ability to prioritize time sensitive assignments
Creativity and flexibility
Familiarity with marketing and creative terms and programs, and understanding of how to use them in a business context
Knowledge of Twitter and LinkedIn, and understanding of the right tactics to combine online marketing.
You will be a self-motivated and ambitious marketeer, who is keen to take on challenge and work in a fast and empowering environment.
