Google Search & Ad Campaign Manager

We are looking for an experienced Google Ads Campaign Manager who knows the Google Ads Platform inside out to come and challenge what we currently do and expand our offering on the Google marketing platform.

You will be in charge of the planning, development, management and reporting of the businesses Google marketing channels and responsible for the performance and growth of this channel as we look to dramatically scale the business.

The role will initially focus around Google Adwords and Shopping, scaling these channels up whilst maintaining performance and working with an external SEO agency to primarily manage the onsite side of our optimisation. The successful candidate will also be tasked with expanding their role by identifying and managing other Google channels (YouTube, GDN, etc.) where they can provide value to the company.

The Task-at-Hand:

  • Creating and implementing strategies for Always On and Occasion streams
  • Campaign set up, implementation, optimisation and reporting across all active Google channels
  • Working closely with our Head of Digital Media to report performance and deliver campaigns in line with performance targets
  • Delivering insight led reports to senior management to assist in evolving our marketing approach
  • Delivering insight to our creative team to help inspire, improve and optimise our products/card content
  • Writing ad copy and working with the relevant team for other creative where required
  • Define and maintain audience and data approaches, providing ongoing strategic recommendations and optimisation


We are looking for someone with an exceptional understanding of the Google Ads Platform and proven success working with performance led brands. You will be self-motivated, ambitious, highly analytical, organised and have a growth mindset.

  • Comprehensive understanding of Google Ads channels and how they fit into the wider marketing landscape
  • 4+ years of quality experience marketing with Adwords and Google Shopping
  • Understanding of Search Engine Optimisation
  • Some experience with other Google marketing channels
  • Proficiency in managing campaigns end to end, from strategy development to delivery and optimisation
  • A highly analytical approach and very comfortable with data/data tools
  • An ability to be data driven whilst working in a creative and entrepreneurial environment
  • An ability to write result orientated copy
  • Fluency in English and strong communication skills
  • Basic understanding of the card market – card senders preferred
