Solution architect

Osmii are looking for a solution architect for an exciting global client based in the UK.

The suitable candidate will have:

·        Responsibilities for the 'motorway' components of the solution, including:

o   Self Service Interface

o   Key Infrastructure

o   User Interface / Gateway

o   Codes of Connection

·         The handover of application process material and knowledge transfer to Design and Assurance function

·         The ability to provide continuity of solution design and knowledge transfer

·         Support in the design and development of operational processes, aligned to Service Provider contract requirements, Smart Energy Code and Licence Conditions

·         Capacity to translate business requirements and process into an overarching technical road-map to document the technical link between existing and new technology platforms that will underpin 3 key areas:

o   SMETS1 & SMETS2 Transition

o   Smart Metering Adoption and Enrolment

o   Faster and More Reliable switching

 Role requirements

·         Ensure that system requirements are translated effectively into solutions, including review and assurance of Service Provider design documentation

·         Guarantee that the solutions are implemented in a way that meets the original requirement

·         Resolve issues that lay behind the system requirements

·         Ensure that change request to requirements are coherent and that they integrate correctly with wider company systems

·         Assure service providers meet the needs identified in the Change Requests in an effective and cost-efficient manner

·         Work with service providers to ensure that their solutions are correctly designed and implemented
