Brief – What did the client need?

Our client is a Global Payments and Billing Platform. With approx. 1000 people across EMEA they have a 2-year plan to double headcount.

The client wanted support with spike hiring across its Go To Market units to support its aggressive expansion efforts into strategic pockets of Europe. Whist the talent team was “all hands” on GTM, there would also be follow on demands for operational hires to support a territory that was experiencing hypergrowth.

Strategy – What was the plan?

We grouped hires into our Container model and batched the work as projects. Osmii was assigned blocks of 8 roles per project.

Target organisations were profiled and mapped with the support of internal talent teams – Osmii focused on the wider fringe ecosystem, which was nearly 100 profiled companies.

The interviewers were aware of the batching and timetabled their workload accordingly to make a clear candidate experience.

Specific marketing material was developed to make clear the challenge, the plan, the roles and support general FAQs about the brand. On interview day candidates were highly prepared and knowledgeable of the business units, company strategy and task ahead.

Everything was run through Greenhouse.

Results / Summary

Osmii successfully placed 3 projects of 8 hires across 4 locations – London, Paris, Berlin and Amsterdam which was approx.

Following support of spike demand, we moved to support supplementary “operational” hires, which allowed the internal team to continue to focus on the core demands; this covered IT, Support, Talent, Customer Success, Managerial and Pre Sales.

Working alongside a highly competent Talent team doesn’t mean competition, it means partnership. Through planning and delegation we provided volume during the phase 1 spike and then absorbed time consuming searches allowing the core team to remain efficient and focused during phase 2.
